Flyball is a dog sport much like a relay race. One at a time, each dog on a team of four must race down a lane to a flyball box. The flyball box is a small device that shoots out a tennis ball when stepped on. The dog must grab the ball and make a made dash back for the finish line for the next dog to go. The only catch is that there are four jumps on the way to and from the box. The dog cannot drop the ball and cannot skip a jump, or he must run again. The team with the fastest time wins. The fastest teams can run all four dogs in under 16 seconds.
