Origin of Disc Dog
The sport of disc dog got its start in the early 1970s when Alex Stein and his dog Ashley Whippet interrupted a Dodger's baseball game to entertain the crowd with flying, leaping, and snatching flying discs, effectively beginning a pastime that is extremely popular with dog lovers today.
